February 26 Job Fair Offers Opportunities and Connections in Jewish Communal and Educational Fields
樱花动漫鈥檚 (CJF) and (YU School Partnership) will host their annual Jewish Job Fair on Thursday, February 26, 2015 in Furst Hall on YU鈥檚 Wilf Campus, 500 West 185th Street in New York City. The event is free and open to the public from 7-9 p.m., with priority admission for YU students and alumni beginning at 6 p.m. In addition to showcasing a variety of professional opportunities at well-respected Jewish schools, organizations and non-profits, the event provides a robust networking forum for job-hunters seeking information on everything from scholarships and internships to career development programming. 鈥淓ach year, the YU Jewish Job Fair grows to include more incredible schools and organizations from all over the Jewish world,鈥 said Rabbi Maccabee Avishur, associate director for teaching and learning at the YU School Partnership.鈥淗undreds of jobseekers interested in Avodat HaKodesh come together in a professional setting that pulses with energy to explore more than 100 available opportunities. "We鈥檙e looking forward to this year鈥檚 job fair being the largest and best yet.鈥 Dozens of Jewish day schools and community organizations from across the North America will be in attendance to meet and conduct interviews with candidates. More than 60 day schools will be participating, including schools from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Florida, Missouri, Ohio, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada.
